{Audrey and Brian}

We really enjoyed getting to know Audrey and Brian since they live locally in Charleston and what a cool couple!  Both are hardworking teachers and they have such an amazing love for each other, as you can see was captured here with the awesome photography by Charleston Wedding Company.

Family and friends traveled from afar and were welcomed to the beautiful and majestic  Legare ~ Waring House at Charles Towne Landing.

RLE worked with the beautiful natural backdrop and added subtle hints of the blue and purple decor to personalize the generous outdoor space.

Snyder Rentals provided all of the chairs, tables and linens for the occasion, adding to the already classic look of the beautiful Legare Waring House.

All of the gorgeous floral arrangements created by Lotus Flower incorporating the deep blues and purples of the wedding colors with natural containers to compliment the venue.

Wedding Program Fans to keep guests cool during the warm outdoor summer wedding.

DJ Moo Moo provided a great array of old school music for everyone to dance to, doing a great job fulfilling Brian's love and interest for eclectic music.

{Cait & Bob} Part I

Your wedding is a day that you have been planning since you were a little girl and you want everyone to leave afterwards saying, “That is the best wedding I have ever been to!” And that is what the family and friends of Bob and Cait Denny have been saying since they left the wedding in late June.

Both are originally from Ohio, so they really wanted to make the trip down to Charleston extra special for their guests.  After the beautiful Wedding Ceremony at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Bob and Cait took their guests on a personal history tour of downtown Charleston. Guests then joined the reception at Charlestowne Landing, at The Legare-Waring House. Everyone arrived to the front lawn of the Legare ~ Waring House where they picked up their escort cards from a pineapple escort card tree that was a nod to the 'welcome' to Charleston.

Throughout the night, guests enjoyed southern-style  fare of Pulled Pork BBQ, Babyback Ribs, Beef Brisket,  and Shrimp and Grits catered by Granville’s Catering.

To sweeten their palate,  a variety of delicious pies were served in lieu of a wedding cake: Blackberry Cabernet, Salt Rimed Margarita, Apple and Key Lime Pies all created by the talented new 3.14 Pies

Everyone had a great time dancing the night away to the sounds of DJ Rob Duren and the night ended with a lavender send-off for the bride and groom as they exited in a Classic 1967 Black Mustang Convertible.

A huge thank you to Ameilia and Dan from Dreamland Images for capturing this beautiful day!
 Red Letter Events had a great time celebrating this joyous occasion with  Bob and Cait and we wish them many years of happiness!! More to come on this beautiful wedding, stay tuned.....

{Emily & Kyle}

LUCKY SEVENS! I always feel lucky to be a part of a couple's wedding day and was especially thrilled to be a part of Emily & Kyle's celebration at the William Aiken House.

Emily & Kyle rolled the dice on their wedding night as guests enjoyed an alternative entertainment option...casino night. Their goal was to exceed the mundane wedding rituals and do what comes naturally with friends and family surrounding them.
Guests enjoyed an exceptional 3-course dinner from FISH, beautiful floral arrangements by Lotus Flower & wedding cake by Ashley Bakery. Thanks to the talented Alyona Semenov for capturing the moments...check out that dice action!

Unbelievable cake design by Ashley Bakery....and let me just say, the top tier of this cake was the groom's favorite combination, peanut butter and banana....the most incredible tasting cake!!

Aubergine linens looked great in this room...such a wonderful pop of color.

{Kimberly & Matt}

Perfect Weather! Kimberly & Matt definitely had the heavens in their favor on October 24th. The weather was calling for rain....rain....& more rain on the wedding day. The mother of groom just laughed and said that was the case on both of her other children's wedding days, so why not Kimberly & Matt's! Instead, we had beautiful skies and warm weather as everyone danced the night away to the rockin' sounds of Permanent Vacation under the large tent at Patriots Point Pavilion.

Beautiful Floral design by Lotus Flower:
Ashley Bakery did an amazing job with the wedding cake. The bride wanted to incorporate the palm tree motif from her wedding invitations and it worked out perfectly.

They had the most adorable attendants. Ring Bearer 'Charlie' in his vest and cap and Flower Girl Sadie in her white dress with a purple sash to match the bridesmaid's dresses.
Thank you to Kimberly & Matt for allowing us to be a part of this day and thanks to all of our wonderful vendors, including the talented Tara Lowry & Rick McKee for capturing the story of the day!

How about that dress! What a beautiful day for Jessica and Sam as they started their new life together under a 200-yr old Oak draped in Moss on the historic Lexington Plantation property at The Dunes West Golf Club.

Guests enjoyed dinner and dance tunes by DJ Deyond with Dragon Entertainment. Gorgeous cake designed by The Cake Stand, Flowers by Lotus Flower and photography by Jim Gund.

Guests enjoyed sugar cookies in little red boxes, homemade by the bride herself!

{Missie & Cam June 6, 2009}

Missie & Cam were married in June of this year and I've been remiss in sharing their beautiful wedding.The ceremony took place in downtown Charleston at St. Stephens Episcopal Church and shortly after, the guests traveled to The Daniel Island Club for dinner and dancing.

The wedding ceremony and reception flowers were designed by the talented Lotus Flower,
escort cards & street signs by RLE; Photography by Robbin Knight Photography;

The bride Missie wore a dress from the Gown Boutique of Charleston and 'something blue' were her Manolo Blanik Turquoise Rhinestone Buckle d'Orsay shoes.
